I hope you enjoyed the racing in the last few days, some top quality action all over the world. If you haven't seen Japanese superstar Equinox beat up a decent field in Dubai, it's worth the watch. It was great to see Frankie ride a winner at his final Dubai World Cup meeting. Closer to home, Ireland got their flat season underway and Amy Murphy was successfully raiding France. Her first 2YO runner of the year won on debut, hopefully our Via Electriano will be doing the same in a couple of weeks time! Kalashnikov then won a decent C1 race around Auteuil. An emotional victory for the team. They've had to be patient with him after he damaged a tendon at the Festival just over two years ago in March 2021. But he'd gone with plenty of zest at Newbury last time, and a subsequent wind op appears to have worked wonders. If they can keep him sound, he'll be winning a few more pots no doubt. Great to see.
We ended up pulling Kaleb from his intended race at Newbury as the ground looked atrocious and he wasn't worth risking. We may divert him to Plumpton on Easter Sunday before a possible trip to France, which would be a great experience for our syndicate.
