Positives. He has his conditions again and is still capable from this mark. Al race conditions are fine and Allan appears to get the best tune out of him. 

Negatives. Well I have struggled to catch him right and he has won twice this season away from what looked his favourite venue. There is not much pace in this race on paper and there is a chance his lack of gears is exposed. But he stays, and should be plugging on again. 

My Verdict. 1 point win 9/2 (PP) 4/1 general. On paper there is no real reason why he wont go well, but with the danger of getting outpaced late on. But, on what they have all done to date he has the best chance. Lets hope he is in the same mood as LTO.

Non Qualifiers 

3.05 Curr - Captain Cullen - rest pattern does not really exist anymore, winning at different times for this trainer. He is 0/5, 1 places over 5f and has won up to 8f. 

4.00 Muss - Jan Smuts - more consistent in C6. 1/23, 8 places in C5, against 3/23, 15 places C6. All other conditions ok and could run his race again and clearly not impossible for him at this level. 

4.30 Muss - Imperial Legend  - usually drops off in October 0/4, 0 places - he is another who has failed to fire and it would be just our luck for him to go close today, race conditions are fine and he got caught late LTO, agonisingly, possible going for home too early. Economic Crisis - best at Hamilton.
