Subject: A Day On The Downs: THE Jockey to follow?

Hello Friend

Below you can find some stats pointers for Silvestre De Sousa when riding at Epsom's Derby Meeting. Without doubt he's been 'the' jockey to follow there over recent years.

Geegeez Gold- 2 -Day Pass...

Before that... Matt B has reminded me that you can access Geegeez Gold with a 'two day' pass or a 'one week pass' - this is ideal for those of you who wish to dip in and out, attacking the odd weekend of racing, or 'big meeting' (such as Royal Ascot) - accessing what are without doubt the best set of racing tools around in my view. You get full access to all meetings/tools etc.

So, if you're planning on attacking Epsom, or this weekend's racing more generally, you can sign up for a one off pass HERE>>>

Below are my stats for SDS at the Derby meeting, from my members' 'big meeting' stats report. The qualifiers are listed below - essentially all rides over 5-8.5f, however every ride of his here this week is worth closer inspection given the stats below. To be used as a 'starting point'...

Silvestre De Sousa

All rides (prev 5 meetings): 49 bets / 11 wins / 20p / 22.45% sr / +21 SP / +25 BFSP

Distance: 5f- 8.5f : 30 bets / 10 wins / 15p / 33% sr / +40 BFSP
  • 5-8.5f >>>
  • 10/1+ SP: 0/8, 3p
  • Aged 3: 7/13, 9p, +38
  • Drawn 1-4: 8/18,10p, +40
Today's 'qualifiers'

2.00- Rayong

2.35- Masham Star

5.15 - Happy Power

5.50 -  Nobleman's Nest

Of those four, I thought Masham Star looked the most interesting, each-way (5 places) given that despite his wide draw I thought he could get out on the front end, given the lack of other front runners in the race. If he can relax and dictate, he could well take this. We shall see, but i've had an interest wager on him. Happy Power EW may be the next best. I'd have been more interested in Nobleman's Nest if he'd had a run, but in saying that he won fresh when last seen, but may have had the odd problem. Anyway, those are there for you to have a closer look at, using your own approach to race analysis etc. The market would suggest the 2pm is all about one horse, but maybe Rayong can cause an upset. I had no strong views on that race and 2 year old conditions races wouldn't be a race type I attack that often! (thankfully some 3m chases tomorrow! :))

The Scoop 6

This wasn't won again last week which means there's potentially 1/2 a Million up for grabs tomorrow. A £20 share could net £2500, if David can manage to take it down. A bit of fun, plus access to the selections/shortlists a couple of hours before the first race.

(there's also two links to some useful free reports David has pulled together about the Scoop6)

Have a great day,
All the best,
