Hello Friend
Well yesterday's 'through the card' efforts went fairly well.
Some exciting finishes, some agonising, but a few winners dotted around. A few of you emailed in saying it had helped you land the placepot, (one of you winning 拢51 for a 40p outlay, that's what it's all about) and some of you backed the odd winner. All a bit of fun and the member who was track-side had a good time.
As I've been typing, John has emailed in...
"Thanks for your email yesterday.聽After reading your thoughts on each of your selections, I decided to put a quid each-way roll up on them. Brilliant ! I got back just over 拢110 !!"
It really is the greatest game and I'm glad someone read the notes.
That probably took 2 hours all in, with the notes, and maybe I should do a few more when none of my main tipping races of choice to dive into.
You long suffering readers on my free email list have no doubt long considered a 30 day trial of my members' club, or tried it and it wasn't for you, which is fair enough.
But if you're intrigued, you know where to head... CLICK HERE >>>
It was a day off for my main members tips but I'm having a good time of it in 2022 and I'll be trying to kick on
56 bets / 9 wins / 20 places (inc wins) / +36.5 (advised) / +22 BFSP
I've gone to war with a 4/1, 7/1 and 16/1 poke today, fingers crossed!
But, that's enough looking backwards. I'd best share something useful for you.
To Cheltenham...
I'm just about to start my Cheltenham Stats & Trends Report which I should have done in the next couple of weeks and may well just share it for free.
You can read last year's version HERE >>>
I have started digging into a few trainers, which I always like to do from scratch.
I've had a look at the last 5 Festivals for these... the thing with trainer stats is you rarely get a big enough sample size to have full confidence, and that's why the logic is so important and trying to identify a behaviour or method you think may be repeated.
Of course plenty can change with trainers... using different jockeys, different bloodstock agents, new owners with more money, losing owners, changing yards, adding to facilities, a change of staff, feed supplier, changing methods and so on. As well as changes to the programme book, the weather, the type of horses available etc. All of those factors can affect results. Going back too far with trainer angles can be a bit pointless,.
Such angles are only ever a guide of course but there's a few below for Willie Mullins for you to note down...
