So what's been new?
A lot.
Just a lot.
Although on the surface it seems like nothing, but May all the way through August is going to be super super busy with some really exciting content.
I wish I could tell you more, but I don't think I legally can right now. So keep your eyes open for my IG stories and my upcoming uploads on YouTube to find out what's happening soon.
In regards to things I can share with you. May and June was really exciting in terms of sponsorships for me.
In my 50K Q&A beer video I mentioned how I get a lot of emails asking to sponsor the channel but a lot of these requests are from brands that aren't even related to my content or brands I've never heard of, and thus can't really vouch for in terms of quality and value.
One example is hair products (I'm sure most of my viewers have hair, but I'm pretty sure none of you watch my videos for hair related reasons haha)
When I first started YouTube, the idea of sponsors seemed so foreign to me. At the start of my YouTube journey I had written in my little journal all the milestones I wanted to achieve with my YouTube channel, and then I would write them again on post it notes and stick it on my computer monitor (so i woud see it everyday).  I wanted to collaborate with a Tourism Board, work with an 'electronics' brand (that's what i wrote down, what I meant was brands related to electronics I used) and work with brands in my niche. It's crazy to stop and reflect, but we managed to do this all in the month of May and June! I am super excited to be collaborating with Hong Kong Tourism Board and participating in their various events and projects. They sent a goodie pack a couple months back and it had a siu mai candle!Â
