Subject: 🔮 Exciting News from Jennifer Blackstream! 🔎

New release!

Con Cancellation: JordanCon

I am so sorry, but I will not be at JordanCon this week. A personal emergency arose, and I can't leave town.

I'm sorry I won't see you there, but I look forward to getting back out at Balticon next month!

PARANOMRAL PAYBACK is now available!

Featuring a new short story from the Blood Trails series: DIRT

Cover art for Paranormal Payback, featuring a woman with long red hair looking badass in black leather and a man in a suit holding a glowing ball and looking roguish.

A superstar lineup is included in this urban fantasy collection featuring short stories from New York Times bestselling authors Jim Butcher, Holly Black, Kim Harrison, Faith Hunter, and more …

In this short story collection, our heroes get what’s due to them—with a supernatural flair.

But the injustices that have been holding them back might cost them more than they realized. . . .

In “Dirt,” a brand-new story from USA Today bestselling author Jennifer Blackstream, Poppy comes to Shade for help finding out who sent a zombie after her new friend. It turns out to be a tall order when Shade learns Poppy's new friend is the infamous Scales--a techno wiz with a reputation for helping people get revenge for petty wrongs. And then things get personal...

ALSO INCLUDES STORIES BY R.R. Virdi * Delilah S. Dawson * Kevin Hearne * Tanya Huff * Kerrie L. Hughes * R. L. King * Maurice Broaddus

April Survey: The future of the Blood Trails series

All right, so at the moment, it's looking like I can wrap up the Blood Trails series at 20 books (technically, I might be able to do it in 19, but I like the round number).

Shade and friends will be making appearances in the new series, so this isn't goodbye, but I do wonder what the future might hold. If I were to decide later that I wanted to write Shade and Peasblossom as my main characters again, I can either 1.) add more books to the existing series or 2.) create a "part two" Blood Trails series.

My question for you readers is this: what other series have you read that the author decided to pick up again after "closing" it? What did they do that worked for you? Did anyone handle it in a way that didn't work for you?
