Subject: Indie Author News: Local Author launches book for charity

Indie Author News

Hello from Indie Author News,

Just a short message today.

Some of you may know that, in addition to being an Indie author, I run a facilitated self-publishing company called Utility Fog Press that provides a variety of personalised services to Indie authors, such as website creation, interior and cover design (via my imprint Quantum Dot Press), and publishing / marketing advice.

Currently, I'm working with local author Sue Williams who has written a humorous story about five ladies 'of a certain age' who escape their care home and get into all kinds of mischief as they travel around Yorkshire in a small van they've 'borrowed'.

Join the ladies as they set off on their travels looking for fun and adventure, spiced with a little mischief.

Meet their old friends Fruity and Fabulous, aka Eric and George, Freddie the Fence and Annie, the farmer’s wife. Enjoy their tussles with authority in the person of Amanda, the care home manager, and Father Matthew, vicar of St Jude’s and eco warrior. Not to mention their occasional brush with the law.

Age is no barrier to having a good time and remember, it’s not just the young who want to have fun!

More champagne anyone?

The book is launching July 29th (less than two weeks!) and all profits are being donated to charity. To help with this worthy cause, we're hoping to get the book sales started as strongly as possible. That means a good number of pre-orders and reviews right from launch day to put us in the good graces of the Amazon algorithm.

If this book sounds interesting to you or you know someone who would be interested, and you'd like to support a worthy cause, please consider pre-ordering.

And after you've pre-ordered, you can get a 10-chapter teaser by signing up to the launch team!

Thank you so much for your support.

Stay healthy, keep active, and Write On!
