Hi everyone,
As
you may have heard, the Berlin-Peck Memorial Library is now closed to
the public to help contain the spread of COVID-19. At this time, we aim
to re-open on April 1st, but that may be subject to change.
While our doors are closed, we still want to provide as much access to information and entertainment
as we can! If you haven't tried out the library's online services, now
is the time. And if anything gives you trouble, give us a call!
Since
you're reading our newsletter, it's a good bet you already have a library card and have visited the library's website... but please consider forwarding this email to friends and
family who are residents of Berlin, East Berlin, or Kensington.

| What if I have a question?
You can still reach a librarian Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

| What do I do with items I have checked out?
We've extended all due dates to May 1, and you will not receive late fees while we are closed. Please do not return Library materials in the book drop.

| Can I get a new library card?
Yes! You can sign up online for a temporary library card, which will give you access to some services like OverDrive/Libby immediately. We'll email you ASAP with a permanent library card number, which will give you full access to the rest of the library's services.
Library cards scheduled to expire before the end of March have been extended through May 31. If you need to renew your card, or have any questions about your account, please give us a call at 860-828-7125.

| Can I still access library materials?
Yes! Our digital library and other online resources are available anywhere, anytime. Use your library card number, located on the back of your card, to download and stream all sorts of materials (for all ages!) And it's all free!
