The WCA is live & 45 minutes of free online bunkai videos!

Hi All!

The World Combat AssocationI know it's been a little while since the last newsletter and I'm very grateful to you all for your patience. The reason for the delay is that I've been incredibly busy with quite a few exciting projects; the chief of which must the launch of the World Combat Association! For a while now I’ve been saying that there is a strong need for a global non-political organisation that will support and recognise pragmatically biased traditionalists like us. The WCA is that organisation and it is now up and running!

Here in Britain the British Combat Association (BCA) has been the driving force behind effective self-protection / practical martial arts for almost 20 years; but there had been nothing to cater the huge international network that we all know exists. Some of you will also recall my SATMA idea (Society of Applied Traditional Martial Arts) to address this issue.  Having discussed the problems with Peter we decided that combining the BCA with the SATMA concept to produce the World Combat Association (WCA) was the way to go. So we've been working hard to get everything in place and it's now all systems go!

The World Combat Association is off to a strong start with interest coming in from all four corners of the globe. Indeed, interest has been so great that the website crashed the first two times we launched it due to our bandwidth limits being exceeded in a matter of minutes after the was link was posted on my Facebook page!
