Firstly, I've just added a new online bunkai video to the website! It is some impromptu footage recorded in the dojo yesterday. The students had been sparring for most of the class and this was taken while they were cooling down with some technique work. The techniques demonstrated in this clip can be found in various kata including Pinan / Heian Yodan (the standing strangle), Naihanchi / Tekki  (the head control and knee), Chinto / Gankaku (the kneeling strangle), etc, etc. If you fowllow this link you will be able to view it:

MARC MACYOUNG DISCUSSES SELF-DEFENCE:

Marc gives a really good explanation of some of the misunderstood and overlooked issues surrounding self-defence.
