On July 18, IAGR sent notice to the full membership regarding a special ballot issue to be presented for electronic voting this summer. With its annual review of the IAGR Bylaws, the Board of Trustees has developed numerous proposed amendments which provide clarity and more efficient governance of operations in multiple areas.
A detailed summary of these amendments was distributed to all members for comment prior to the jurisdictional vote. With the close of the comment period, I can confirm that member response did not result in any changes to the proposed amendments as originally shared.
Please find attached the ballot to be completed and returned by each jurisdiction's voting member. This ballot issue asks the Members to approve the various proposed amendments to the IAGR Bylaws. The document indicates an area if the Member approves all amendments and a section if they wish to cast their approval for specific amendments only.
The voting period will be open from Thursday, July 31 through Thursday, August 21. The Voting Members should return their jurisdiction's ballot to Secretary Trude Felde at tfe@lotteritilsynet.no with copy to Mariah Echele at mariah@mecheleconsults.com no later than 5:00 PM, Thursday, 21 August (Oslo, Norway time).
Only the designated voting member from each jurisdiction will need to complete and return the ballot. Please contact Secretary Trude Felde if you need confirmation of the voting member from your jurisdiction.
