Subject: What's coming up at Hot Metal?
Dear Hot Metallers!

First, thank you so much for your presence at the official Installation service last Sunday! What a wonderful celebration of what God has done and is doing here at Hot Metal! I appreciate all who worked to make it a special day.

This weekend, we celebrate the Baptism of Jesus and I will be away at the baptism of my godson. You will be in the hands of a faithful preacher from the community, and will still gather around the table to receive the gifts of communion. As we gather in different places, I will be praying for you and pondering the promises that take place in the sacrament of baptism – where first and foremost God promises to love and be with us all the days of our life. The same words spoken to Jesus as he entered the waters are spoken about us, “This is my beloved Child.” My prayer for you all this week is that you always known you are beloved by God, and that you have a place here at Hot Metal to celebrate that love.

Leadership Ordination // NEXT Sunday, January 19th at 10:30am 
All new leaders will be ordained and installed in their new positions!

Children’s Ministry Feedback Meeting – NEXT Sunday, January 19, after worship. 
All parents of children through 6th grade are invited to join Pastor Erin upstairs during lunch for a time of dreaming and visioning the next steps for our children’s ministry. If you aren’t able to make it next week, please email Pastor Erin or the Personnel Committee and we’d be happy to hear your feedback!

White Ally Toolkit Movie Outing! Monday, January 20.
All are welcome to join the White Ally Toolkit group as we celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Day by seeing the new movie “Just Mercy.” Exact time and location to be determined!

All Leadership Meeting // Wednesday, January 22 at 7:00pm All teams will gather together to dream and pray and plan for the next year!

"What the Health?" Bible Study 
You are invited to join a bi-monthly Bible Study for women that dives into what the Bible says about the impact of emotional injuries on our physical bodies. This will meet the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month starting January 8th, at 7:00pm. This will meet at 200 White Hampton Lane 15236.
