Merry Christmas, Hot Metal!
Yes, we are still in the Christmas season until January 6th, the day of Epiphany! As the secular calendar turns to a New Year, we continue in the hope brought by Emmanuel, God with Us!
This Sunday at our regular worship, we'll hear about the naming of Jesus and think about the importance of naming God at work. Then in the afternoon at 4pm, we'll gather together for the official Installation Service and celebration of Epiphany! New Year, new chapter, new beginnings abound!

| Installation Service // Sunday, January 5 at 4pm
Join Hot Metal and the Pittsburgh Presbytery as we officially install Pastor Erin as the pastor here! This worship service invites lay and clergy from the surrounding area to celebrate with us as an official start to this next chapter. Pastor Erin’s friend and colleague, Pastor Jennifer McCurry of First Lutheran Downtown, will preach. We’ll mark the special day of Epiphany and rejoice in the fact that God is revealed in unexpected places…even in a Lutheran pastor called to a place called Hot Metal.
Leadership Ordination // Sunday, January 19th at 10:30am All new leaders will be ordained and installed in their new positions!
All Leadership Meeting // Wednesday, January 22 at 7:00pm All teams will gather together to dream and pray and plan for the next year!
"What the Health?" Bible Study You are invited to join a bi-monthly Bible Study for women that dives into what the Bible says about the impact of emotional injuries on our physical bodies. This will meet the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month starting January 8th, at 7:00pm. This will meet at 200 White Hampton Lane 15236.
