CELEBRATION SUNDAY + CALL VOTE

Celebrate the sale of our Southside building and vote to welcome our next pastor! It's an occasion that calls for cake. (A Costco cake, the good stuff.)

Nine months ago, we made the decision to let go of our building to financially support our future. Now that moment has come when we can begin to reinvest into our community's priorities! We have a lot of folx to thank, and we all deserve a collective exhale after the journey we've been on together. Then comes the fun part... we get to make our first big investment by hiring a full-time interim pastor to help guide us in building the future we want for ourselves and the communities we love!

Who can vote? We've always had a loose understanding of Hot Metal membership. If you think you're a member of our congregation, we think you are too and welcome your vote. No classes or paperwork needed.

What if I'm joining by Zoom? All good, you are an important part of our congregation and can vote the same way you attend. See you Sunday!

It's fish fry season! Stop by Community Kitchen any Friday in Lent to support our neighbors doing incredible work to strengthen communities through food. Each week you'll see a few Hot Metallers at their volunteer shifts.

We're not making this up, it's a real national Presbyterian holiday! Wear a sweater to church where we'll be commemorating Fred Rogers, Pittsburgh's favorite Presbyterian pastor, for his work around peace and reconciliation.

Every week we typically sing a few songs, share some prayer requests, have a sermon, and share in communion together. ASL interpretation is offered online.

Kiddos are always joyfully welcomed in our service; noises, wiggles, and all! We currently do not have kids’ programming available, but we hope to rebuild our nursery program and kids’ Sunday School in the near future.
