Merry Christmas Hot Metallers!
I hope you are all enjoying the season, and I give thanks for the ways in which this community gathered together to mark the birth of Jesus Christ! We sang, we prayed, and we remembered the ultimate gift of God's love! Thank you to all who made those celebrations special!
The Christmas season continues! This Sunday we will not give into the world's demands to stop singing Christmas carols, but instead have a whole service dedicated to them! We'll hear more of God's story, and the children will have a special craft time in the worship space.

Installation Service // Sunday, January 5 at 4pm
Join Hot Metal and the Pittsburgh Presbytery as we officially install Pastor Erin as the pastor here! This worship service invites lay and clergy from the surrounding area to celebrate with us as an official start to this next chapter. Pastor Erin’s friend and colleague, Pastor Jennifer McCurry of First Lutheran Downtown, will preach. We’ll mark the special day of Epiphany and rejoice in the fact that God is revealed in unexpected places…even in a Lutheran pastor called to a place called Hot Metal.
Reminder that we are always in need of help with Sunday meals, especially clean-up. If you are willing and able, please contact Megan Lindsey or Pastor Erin.
