We meet in the carpark at the rugby league end of the fields - the end furthest away from the synthetic fields.

If you've not done so already, could you please complete this short questionnaire so that I can include you when I'm planning the session.



Wet Weather
We generally train in wet weather, however if there is lightning about or if the rain is torrential with no sign of clearing, the session is cancelled. I'll send you a text in the unlikely event your trial is cancelled.  We often find it clears up and we have a fairly dry session when it's been raining earlier in the day, so expect the session to be on, unless there's a hurricane forecast! 


What to expect at Hooked on Running training sessions

  • Running at a medium to high intensity, appropriate to your level of fitness  - so that you can get the most benefit from your precious training time

  • A fun, safe environment to train amongst a group of like - minded women. I think you'll find you want to come back for more. 

  • No pressure to keep up with those running at a faster pace

  • Push yourself within your own individual limits

  • Learn how to enjoy running in a safe manner and reduce risk of injury


All of our training sessions are interval based training. We usually stay on the oval but will occasionally use the surrounding streets for a bit of variety. We've been running training groups for over 13 years now, so we're used to structuring sessions which are inclusive of all levels.
