Subject: 🏃‍♀️ Your Training is Ready

Hi Friend

I've planned out the first month or so of training for you. I may change it, depending on how you are going. The more consistent you can be with your training, the faster we can advance you.

I've included some basic strength workouts a couple of days a week. It would be good if you could get these in. No equipment required.

As I mentioned the other night, we might think about adding in a Tuesday run later on, but for the short term we'll be sticking to 3 runs a week for you.

Logging into your account

You can log into your training account from our website and clicking on the members area button, or by clicking on this link

Your account was created ages ago, so I guess you probably don't remember your password. Please use the forgotten password link to create a new one.

You can view your training on a desktop/laptop or by the mobile app. We use the Training Tilt platform to deliver your training. Go to your app store and search on Training Tilt to download your free training app.

Recording Your Training

You will need to sync your training device with your Hooked on Running training app. You will need to do so via the Strava App. It'll will take about 5 minutes. It is possible to sync your Garmin straight to the training app, but I can get a much better feel if I can view it all on Strava. Not sure if you have a Garmin or other training device? We can have a quick chat about the technology tomorrow night if you need to clarify anything.

Create a Strava Account

  • Go to Strava.com and create a FREE account.

  • Click on the drop down box on the top right of screen next to your name and click on Settings

  • On the left hand menu, click on Privacy Controls, and set your privacy so that followers can see your activities and your profile. You can deny or allow requests to follow you, so that you can control who can see your activities. I will need to follow you to see your workout data.

Connect Strava to Hooked on Running

  • Log into your account

  • On the top right of the screen, click on the drop down box beside your name.

  • Click on Settings

  • Scroll down to connections, and connect to Strava

Connect Your Device to Strava

You can connect your Garmin with Strava by following these instructions

If you use an Apple Watch, this article will show you how to connect with Strava.

That is definitely enough information for now!

Please get in touch if you need any help at all. And if you could shoot through the answers to those other questions, that would help too.

Regards

Kirsten
