I get readers that email me this question quite often:

"I struggle with my long runs during my half marathon training. What am I doing wrong?"

Is there an easy answer to this question? No. "If it was easy, everybody would do it." That doesn't help does it? So, why do beginner runners struggle with long runs during a half marathon training cycle?
