Hi Friend
“Play it again, Sam”.
“It’s alive. It’s ALIVE”.
“There’s no place like home”.
Can you name all three movie quotes (Answers are at the bottom of the email)?
This next one has to be my favourite, however. And it can create massive long-term profits.
“If you build it, he will come”.
It’s from the Ray Liotta film, Field of Dreams. Which often gets misinterpreted as “If you build it, they will come”
(Which I prefer, if I’m honest).
But, build what?
And who will come?
Today I’ll show you how you can build a profitable email list using our newest product which is available in OFFER ONE in the Black Friday sale…
Look. Learn. Cook! 2.0
To get started you’ll need an email service provider (ESP).
There are loads out there. I use Get Response.
A few other good ones are Aweber, Active Campaign and MailerLite.
Most of them also come with a free trial for anywhere between 7 days and one month. And they are relatively inexpensive enough while you’re building your list.
In your ESP locate the landing page builder. Create a landing page with a catchy headline that calls out to YOUR specific audience (ignore the temptation to use a generic “I’m looking for X who don't want to Y while trying to Z).
Be very specific about the types of people you work with best.
On your landing page, list three to five bullets about how your free thing can help them.
Add a strong CTA (call to action) asking them to fill in the form to get hold of your free thing. Your form must include their first name, last name and email address as an absolute minimum. You can ask for their phone number or home address if you wish.
(I think the less info you ask for the more chance you have of getting people to sign up for your freebie).
As for the freebie, of course, you could give away the entire catalogue of Look. Learn Cook 2.0 (which I don’t recommend).
Choose around 10 of the recipes you think will resonate with your audience. Package them together and give them away in exchange for your ideal prospect email address.
Send them a welcome email that shows your personality and passion. And most importantly deliver the free thing.
Send three to six follow-up emails demonstrating how you’ve helped other people like your prospect. Showcase the results you helped them achieve.
At the end of your follow-up emails, give your new prospect an opportunity to work with you.
From there send at least two emails per week where you continue to build a bond with your subscribers and demonstrate how you can help them.
This will build the know, like and trust factor which people need before they buy from you.
As for what to sell them. You can, of course, sell your coaching. Or you can sell them the rest of the Look. Learn. Cook! 2.0 video recipe series.
Best wishes,
Naomi.
Ps. This is just one way to use Look. Learn. Cook! 2.0
I will share more ideas in the coming days.
