In recent emails, I asked you what deals you wanted to see this coming Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

I received a load of replies. Some were great ideas I hadn’t previously thought of (so they went into the bundles)...

Some were downright cheeky asking for free products (said tongue in cheek with a genuine option I might add)...

And then one guy who simply said this.

Stop sending messages.

That’s it. 3 lonely words.

I must admit it did give me a little chuckle…

Because this guy either doesn’t understand how email marketing works or doesn’t understand how the unsubscribe button works. (Don’t worry. I unsubscribed him on my end).

But that’s the thing with emails and marketing.

I could have listened to this guy's “advice ”and stopped sending you emails…

At which point I wouldn’t have had the ideas for what went into the Black Friday bundle offers…

And I wouldn’t have so many people on the waitlist to guarantee themselves the early order bonuses.

So the next time someone tells you email marketing doesn’t work…

Or you shouldn’t send “too many emails so you don’t upset your subscribers” Let this be a lesson to you…

Send the email. Keep in touch with your subscribers.

They want to hear from you and see what you’re offering them.

Providing it’s valuable of course.
