Dear Member,
Every three years the EUROPARC
Federation Council, including the President, need to be elected. Normally,
elections would have taken place during last year's General Assembly at the
EUROPARC Conference in Austria. However, due to the corona crisis an emergency
"Verein" regulation was put in place in Germany, allowing us to
postpone the elections.
This year it is time to
pick up where we left off, which is why EUROPARC is happy to announce that we
have opened nominations for the positions of EUROPARC Council Member and EUROPARC President. We of
course hope that the election can take place face to face at the General Assembly in
Leeuwarden, The Netherlands on 5th of October 2021. If this is not possible, the election
will take place online. If this need arises, more information on online voting will be provided in
due time.
For now, we welcome our members to
nominate their candidates! Please
familiarise yourself with the following documents:
If you are interested in taking up
this amazing challenge and opportunity, as a member of the EUROPARC Federation,
you need to seek a
nomination from another member. A member cannot nominate a person from within
its own organisation.
Alternatively if you/your
organisation have identified a suitable person
(from another organisation) then
- check
their organisation remains a member of
EUROPARC (we can do that for you too)
- please
seek the approval of the individual, then complete the nomination form
