As we head into the new year, I would like to remind you that in four months we’ll be hosting the Pure Life Ministries’ Annual Conference on May 3rd and 4th at the Ark Encounter Answers Center. We will also hold a preconference on marriage and family on May 2nd. Please consider joining us for this wonderful time of seeking God!
Our theme this year will be, “Truth: It will set you free. It will keep you free.” This is indeed a vital message at such a time as this when deception continues to proliferate, seemingly surfacing everywhere with countless faces. The fact is that innumerable lying spirits inhabit earth’s atmosphere, each projecting its own version of falsehood. All this deception is aimed at leading people far from God.
And believers aren’t impervious to their wicked scheming either. Each of us have areas of vulnerability that the enemy knows how to attack. Walking in Truth requires more than simply embracing correct doctrines. We must think, speak, and live out the Truth in our everyday lives.
This is why it is so vital that we sink our roots deeply into God’s Truth. Only there will we be safe from the enemy’s deceptions. And this is what makes our Annual Conference so important every year: being able to unplug from the world’s relentless voice and hear what God has to say to us.
There are many amazing aspects to our Annual Conference: Spirit-led worship services, powerful and timely sermons, informative panel discussions, joyous fellowship, and, of course, our Alumni & Friends Benefit Banquet. As wonderful as each of these are, none are more transforming than simply being in God’s presence for two days.
I also should mention that this year we plan to livestream our main conference. Of course, it goes without saying that joining in through a computer screen will not be as impactful as being there in person. But it provides an alternative for those who simply cannot attend.
