Give away winner & Episode 16
Hi Friend,

It's Winter here in Australia which is actually a great time of the year for me. I find that the cooler weather makes me feel much more energetic as the Summer months and heat we get here is so draining and seems to exacerbate the Hashi's.

I sleep better, feel better and am enjoying layering up in my warm clothes and gloves and enjoying the rain and wind. Do you find that you feel better at certain times of the year?

In the last newsletter I hosted a give away for Dr Sarah Ballantyne's new Autoimmune Protocol e-book and the lucky winner is Lori Smith.

Congratulations Lori!

Friend you can still get your own copy of the e-book using the link below.

Episode 16 of the Emotional Autoimmunity podcast is out now featuring my special guest, Shanna Nemrow who you may know from her blog Wellness Unraveled.

After suffering from health issues for more than a decade, Shanna was finally diagnosed with Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis from an ultrasound.

In a story familiar to so many of us, Shanna was told by her Endocrinologist that there was no cure, there was nothing she could do to alleviate her symptoms and that she would eventually need to take Thyroxine for the rest of her life when the damage to her thyroid became bad enough.

When Shanna walked out of that appointment, she was determined to do what ever it took to get her health and life back.

However as we also know, there is no easy path, especially when you are left to find your way alone. The impact of her declining energy and increasing symptoms had a significant affect on her marriage to her childhood sweetheart and caused so much guilt and pain that her young children had to witness her decent into her own personal rock bottom.

Shanna shares openly and with heart about that struggle, what she did to help herself heal and how the impact of her illness transformed her life into what it is now.

More importantly, she shares how wonderful it was that her children got to see her rise back to better health and a brand new life.

Episode 16 with Shanna Newmrow: Rising back from rock bottom.

After suffering health issues for over a decade, Shanna Nemrow was finally diagnosed with Hashimoto's Thyroiditis and told by her Endocrinologist that there was no cure, there was nothing she could do and had no suggestions for anything to relieve her symptoms. Shanna walked out of that appointment as a warrior, ready to do everything that she could to fight for her health and life.

One of the hardest things she faced was dealing with the impact it had on her marriage to her childhood sweetheart and her children watching her decline to rock bottom. One of the best things for Shanna was that her children got to see not only her decline, but her rise. Have a listen and be inspired.
