Hi Friend,
On October 9th it will be 5 years since my diagnosis with Hashimoto's, the day that completely changed my life forever.
And while that may seem a strange thing to celebrate to some, I am celebrating just how far I have come since those dark and terrifying days when I was physically and cognitively disabled and felt like my life was over.
With every year since, I have seen some bits of my old life come back, regained parts of the old me and this is such a wonderful feeling.
In fact, it's only now that I finally have my love of reading back!
If you love books as much as I do, then you will understand just how much this means to me. I have always been an avid reader, never without a book on the go and at least 3 more waiting to be read, so losing my ability to read books was devastating to me.
I am thrilled to say that in the past 5 weeks, I have read 10 novels back to back and enjoyed getting lost in a great story again!
So to celebrate my Hashiversary, Friend I am going to be giving 5 gifts to 5 people on this list. Maybe you will be one of them?
The winner will get a free online therapy session with me and 4 runners up will receive a copy of my Relaxed Hypnotherapy bundle which will help them sleep better, lower their stress levels and learn how to manage those stressful, scary thoughts.
This coming Sunday, I will be sending you an email with all of the competition detail on how you can enter to win, so keep an eye on your inbox this weekend!
And remember Friend, if you feel stuck in trauma, if your relationship with your partner is beginning to crack or if you feel stuck in overwhelm and anxiety, you can always book your FREE 25 minute Discovery Session with me using the link below to find out how my therapy programs can help you get your life back.
warm wishes Kerry
P.P.S.
Episode 22 of the EA podcast with my special guest, Krista Rowan is out now.
Twenty years ago, Krista Rowan went to bed one night feeling perfectly normal and woke up the next day in a full body flare. Everything hurt and she was not able to even get her shoes on.
Luckily when she got to her GP he did recognise the significance of her symptoms and gave her a referral to an emergency waiting list for a Rheumatologist. Two weeks later she was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis. Krista was engaged to be married, starting a new job and buying a home with her future husband and her focus became all about getting functional again and fitting back into her old life so she embarked on medication. Some of the medication gave her blips of hope but eventually, that medication stopped working and it was onto the next round of meds. A few years later, new symptoms began to appear but she put it down to the RA and kept on going, working hard, trying to prove that she could still do all the things she did before.
