Austin Energy crews have been working 24/7 since immediately after the storm and have made significant progress in restoring power across the city. At the peak, there were 72,500 customers without power. Currently 19,000 customers remain without power from 337 separate outages.
Because of the complicated nature of many of these outages, it’s difficult to provide specific estimated times of restoration. Fortunately, mutual aid crews from throughout the state have arrived in Austin to assist Austin Energy workers in making repairs |
