Well, the same thing applies to eating "diet foods" to lose weight.

 Remember, a habit is a neurological pathway in your brain. This means that every habit is the equivalent of a computer program. And that program is going to be running in your brain indefinitely until you change the code (the habit loop).

Secondly, if you've watched the first of the three FREE videos on The Top Three Things You MUST do to Lose Weight for the Last Time, I talked about the fact that the brain is very REWARD-centered.

This means that every habit is created AROUND a particular reward.  And chances are you eat the way you've been eating because it gives you pleasure.

Well, here's another little secret for you...YOUR BRAIN LOVES PLEASURE, because pleasure is a major reward!

So, if you've been getting pleasure from what you eat and then you suddenly switch to eating "diet foods," that's a major red flag for your brain to start rebelling against your new way of eating in the form of increased food cravings.

Remember, the only way to be successful in changing your eating habits over the long-term is to change the neurological pathway (the brain code) of each habit you want to change.
