So, what is the third important step in creating permanent weight loss success?

STEP THREE:
Making and keeping commitments to yourself and having an accountability partner/coach.


This is HUGE!

I often tell my coaching clients that success is nothing more than doing simple things consistently over time. Like planning your meals ahead of time and sticking to your plan.

The problem is that most people get bored or lose focus because they’re being pulled in different directions.

So, each week I help my clients stay focus by making weekly commitments. I always ask them, “what are you willing to commit to doing this week to lose the next 5 pounds?”

And each week, I hold them accountable to doing what they’ve committed to doing.

The truth is, real results require a real human relationship.

Because if you could have achieved permanent weight loss success on your own, you would have already.

And so far this year (2024) my coaching clients have lost 10-20 pounds.

So, you need someone to hold you accountable because it’s very difficult to hold yourself accountable, especially when you’re working to change old habit patterns and develop new habits.

The right coaching relationship is instrumental in helping you achieve your goals, because together, you and a coach will be able to figure things out faster and more successfully than you could by yourself.
