The Enterprise AI Code Verification Crisis


Sauce Labs surveyed 400 executives and engineering leaders and found that 80% have already had a production incident traceable to AI-generated code, while 92% doubt their current safeguards would stop the next one from reaching users. Two-thirds admit they have loosened testing standards to hit release dates.


We chose it because it puts measured numbers behind the argument in this issue's lead: generation has outrun verification, and the teams feeling it hardest are the ones who assumed a passing test suite was the same thing as a checked result.
