Water Conservation Notice | Chris Overby We are entering the time of year where we are having unusually high water usage on the campus and we are losing ground on the potable water supply in the storage tanks. With Quest and Sound Foundations ramping up (for which we are very grateful), the water usage will be increasing. At this point we would ask for assistance from each of you by having a mindset of conserving water so that our wells can keep up with the water demands on the campus without having to use Pritchett water which is very expensive. I understand if you have a garden that you have been caring for or grass that is dying, and so use water if you feel that it is needed to keep things on track, just not excessively. The faculty row irrigation should be up and running in the next week or two, but in the meantime, please help us conserve water and ministry resources in any way that you can. Another way that you can help, is by noticing anything unusual, such as green grass in unusual places which might indicate a leak. This conservation effort needs to go into effect immediately. Your help in this effort is greatly appreciated. |
