Prayer and Fasting
This week we will celebrate the 249th birthday of the United States of America. Please join us this Wednesday, July 2 to fast and pray for our nation, and especially our leaders and the American people to seek after the Lord.

“Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.” Proverbs 14:34
Lakefront Usage
Please note that Quest Leadership are taking their Lifeguard Class Wednesday–Saturday this week; their training times will overlap the Lakefront Usage Schedule, but it is helpful for other swimmers to be around when receiving this lifeguard training. Please continue to use the lakefront as usual.
Welcome Baby Ellen!
Jesse and Katy welcomed Ellen Carol Boulden this past Monday, June 23 at 10:33 PM. She weighed 8 lbs and measures 20 3/4 inches long. Her name is a combination of Jesse and Katy's mother's names—Ellen means shining light and Carol means song of joy.

May her life be a song of joy that points others to the Light! "Let them thank the Lord for his steadfast love, for his wondrous works to the children of man! And let them offer sacrifices of thanksgiving, and tell of his deeds in songs of joy!"  Psalm 107:21-22

If you'd like to support Jesse and Katy with a meal, you can do that here!
Welcome Baby Elena!
Matthew and SaraLyn welcomed Elena Mae Kientz on Sunday, June 29 at 2:49 PM. She weighed 7 lbs and measures 20 inches long.

Elena means "Shining Light" and Mae (Matthew's Grandma's middle name) means "Beloved." Our beloved, shining light. We pray that the light of Christ will shine through her life pointing others to Him. "The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it." John 1:5
Bleeding Control Classes
Uncontrolled bleeding is one of the leading causes of preventable trauma deaths and The Stop the Bleed program aims to equip citizens with the knowledge, skills and equipment to help save a life until advanced care is available.

Class Dates:
Stop the Bleed-Basic - July 8
Stop the Bleed-Basic - July 9
Stop the Bleed-Advanced - July 10

Each class will be approximately 4 hours in length, and will be held in the afternoons from 1:15pm to 5:15pm. July 8 and 9 will be identical basic level classes, followed by an advanced class July 10 those interested in going more in-depth. Please contact Samuel Kane if you'd like to attend! There is no cost to participate, but having a count of interested persons will help to account for potential class size.

Quest Update | Lt. O'Neal
Quest will be starting in a couple of weeks. The leadership is moving into the Basic Training area this week, and that area will be closed to non-Quest personnel from this week forward until the end of Quest. Please pray for the leadership as they prepare, and the students as they arrive on the 14th for three weeks of focused growth.

Charlie O'Neal will be directing Quest this year, with Avery Whitaker acting as assistant Director. Please contact one of them for any questions or concerns with Quest this year.
Battalion Update | Capt. Winkler
2nd Phase is kicking off today! Everyone arrived safely over the weekend and started class today. The men will be getting settled into Battalion and starting sawyer training this week. Please pray for safety while they do sawyer work, and pray for safety all summer as we train in the heat. Thank you for all your prayers and support for the men in training!
