| National Day of Prayer Thursday, May 1, is the National Day of Prayer in America. Everyone is invited to join our community as they host a special service at the Big Sandy Heritage Center at noon. Please join the believers across our land as we seek God's intervention in our communities. “Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people.” Proverbs 14:34 |

| Battalion Update | Capt. Winkler This is a busy week for Battalion! Missions left on Saturday for their trip to Yukon, Canada, where they will be until May 8. They will be assisting a church planter working with a First Nations group. I left with half of the EMT class early Sunday morning to go to North Carolina to help with rebuilding after Hurricane Helene. We are due to return back to campus late Friday. The other half of the EMT class is back on campus this week training, along with Tech Rescue and Construction. Construction will be heading to Alaska on Sunday to help Preston Cavner, Unit 2, build houses for a non-profit. Please keep the men in prayer for safety on their travels and deployments, and pray that the men could finish the quarter strong. |
| Basic Training Update | Maj. Hawley This coming week of training is known as Navigational-Medical (Nav-Med) Week. The men will be sent out on different scenarios to be tested on all of the skills they have learned throughout their time in Basic Training. Continue to pray that the men would stay safe throughout the week and that they would continue to hone their skills as they are further challenged to grow as men for Christ. |
