Spring has finally sprung and we have some news from the studio!


Tania is offering a 5 week session of her new equipment circuit class. It's going to be a fantastic workout using all the big Pilates equipment.


Limited to 5 students, this super convenient drop-in class will get your day started strong!


Haven't done an equipment class at Boomerang yet? Don't forget you are eligible for the Equipment Intro Pass: 3 classes for $75 (to be used in 4 weeks).

We've changed some names


OsteoBlast is now called exactly what it is:

Cardio, strength & balance.


This class is an energetic workout that includes, well, cardio, weights and resistance bands and balance work!


Emily and I designed the class to specifically benefit bone health and we all have bones.


It's safe for anyone with osteoporosis but it's actually a terrific class for everyone. It's really important to build bone and balance throughout your life. Maxing out on bone mass early is a fantastic way to protect yourself from osteoporosis later on!


Research shows that for everyone, balance starts to wane around 40 years old. Using it, challenging it and playing with it is the best way to keep it!


Both online and in-studio versions are here for your convenience on Wednesdays and alternate Saturdays at 11:30 am ET (see more below for details about that).


Pilates Progressions is also a clear description of how awesome it is: Core, hips & upper body. Work them all, feel great and get strong!

And finally some schedule changes


My schedule gets weird and busy, so we're trying an experiment. Starting Saturday June 3, the 11:30 class will now alternate between Better Bones & Backs and Cardio, strength & balance.


There will still be a hybrid option of both in-studio and online for each class. When you look at the schedule, you'll see Emily's Wednesday classes as usual and then the Saturday class are labelled as (bi weekly).


We'll see which class gets more love over the next few months and that one will stay on the schedule every week, so if you want one to stay, make sure you come and bring a friend!


Emily has switched her Wednesday evening classes.


Core, hips & upper body is now at 5:15 pm ET and Equipment Explorations is at 6:30 so you can get there after work!
