Are you a movement teacher? Join us on Sunday July 8 12-2 for this great workshop introducing the Oov, a new tool to add to your skills!
The Oov is an innovative movement device created by Daniel Vladeta, DO, to train the body globally in 3D via balance training.
It is an unstable device designed to create both stability and mobility and to effectively and efficiently enhance motor learning and improve performance.
The Oov is also proving to be a useful tool for nervous system regulation and trauma resolution.
In this workshop you will experience:
- An introduction and history to the Oov: the concept, who is it for, what does it do, how does it enhance your client care whether you are a manual therapist or a movement practitioner
- We will do a group class on the Oov to experience how it facilitates functional movement!
- We will explore how the Oov is used for rehabilitation
The workshop will be lead by
Kearsten Lyon, a specialized Movement and Pilates Instructor, Founder of Toronto Movement Therapy and the Oov Educator for Ontario.
