We're saying goodbye to Fahmida

(but not forever)!


If you've taken classes with Fahmida, you know she's an amazing teacher with an absolute wealth of knowledge. We're so happy for her new clients and excited for her fresh direction as she joins a studio closer to her home base.


Fortunately for us, Fahmida will be back to teach workshops and to help us out as a class sub, so you'll still get to see her on occasion.


And if you haven't been on the mat with her for a while, get in there now! Her last classes are next week. Click here for Monday's Beginner Pilates class and here for Roll|Refresh|Re-train on both Monday and Wednesday.


If you're totally in love with the beginner class, you want to keep working on your technique or you know someone who wants to get started with Pilates you're in luck! The lovely Samantha will be taking over for Fahmida and continuing the class.


Sam will also be taking over the Monday 6:30 pm and Wednesday 9:30 am slots with her fun Core Fusion class starting in December. More details coming soon!

I don't know how many people I've talked to recently who are finding there is almost as much stress and anxiety and fatigue involved in this sort-of-post-pandemic time as there was when we were in the midst of it all.


Whether you're managing a small business, kids back in school, being a teacher yourself back in school or just in a state of always waiting for the other shoe to drop, you're not alone.


We trained ourselves to stay home, to avoid other people, to read the news and be alert to the next wave. Even though things are (knock wood) going well, our nervous systems are still tuned to that level of wariness, and we are tired. It's a challenging combination.


So with all that in mind, it seems like the right time for a relax class. A breathe and chill class. A chance for you to slow down, take an hour and hang out with us in the comfort of your own home with a blankie, your favourite props and maybe a candle or two.


There's one extra bonus to this class: you'll get a recording that's good for 48 hours after the class. Some of the folks who want to take it are in the UK and NZ, and the time zones aren't friendly! Take it twice, do it when the time works for you, do it right before your bedtime... whatever you like.


Can't make it live? No worries! Sign up anyway and you'll get access to the replay after class is done.


Breathe & Relax is a drop-in class with me (Alison) running on Wednesdays at 8 pm ET for 6 weeks from Nov 17-Dec 22.

If we love it, I'll put it back on the schedule in January!

We're loving our time back in the studio with our pre-registered classes and will give you more notice for the next batch.


Despite the fact that the province has dropped the numbers restrictions on gyms and studios, we're sticking with our privates/semi-privates and 6 person class limits for the time being and will re-examine our protocols as we get closer to the end of the year.


New sessions will start mid-January and we'll keep you posted!
