Subject: Want a flat stomach and solid core?...do Two Dumbell Ball Twists

Complete abdominal development cannot be achieved with crunches
alone! In fact, if all you're doing is crunches, you're going to
be in for a treat...(insert evil laugh here :)...

See, in order to fully develop the entire core, you MUST also
perform targeted rotational ab movements that incorporate
resistance. A few halfhearted twists with a broomstick won't work
the rotational aspect of the abs at all...it's the direct,
targeted resistance that makes the difference.

And it's this rotational-based core training that tightens the
abs and flattens the stomach. Crunches can't do that for you.

Think of it this way...if somebody asked you to wrap an elastic
on your body somehow to tighten your waist, you wouldn't go over
your shoulders and through your legs...you would wrap it tightly
around your waist, right?

Yet the standard crunch works like the over-shoulder
thing...longways, not around.

THAT is why you need rotational work...to build that natural
corset to tighten the waist and flatten the stomach.

This exercise will do that for you.

And one of the best things about this exercise is that not only
does it have an ACTIVE rotational component, it also has a
RESISTIVE rotational component. What this means is not only are
using your core to rotate the dumbells, because of how the
exercise works, you're also using the core to RESIST that
rotation. You'll feel the difference when you try it.

It's double-trouble and it's a KILLER ab exercise.

Enjoy and yes, there WILL be cursing (I find the most productive
exercises usually involve swearing...either out loud or to
yourself :)

P.S. I pulled this exercise out of my book "The Best Abdominal
Exercises You've Never Heard Of" if you're interested in more
cool ab training like this.
