Subject: This shoulder exercise LOOKS stupid and dangerous...

...it's NOT, and MAN does it work.

If you have a hard time building your shoulders, this one is for you.

And while, yes, it DOES look stupid and dangerous at first glance (it's not when done properly) it creates enough controllable instability to result in massive muscle activation in the delts.

It does require a little bit of specialized equipment (i.e. a bumper plate), but it gave me one of the BEST shoulder workouts I've had in years, in just a couple of sets.
