It's actually crazy GOOD for the quads, though! This is a variation of the Somersault Squat exercise where you hold weight on your upper thigh then focus primarily on knee flexion rather than performing a full squat. This is an excellent version done one leg at a time instead of both legs. This one puts great stretch tension on the quads and really hits the VMO (vastus medialis down on the inner side of the knee) very effectively.. Nick Nilsson P.S.
