Subject: My best "peaking" tip for looking your best for an event...

And when I say "best" I mean "only" because I have to say, it's
not something I really have much experience with!

If you have my Metabolic Surge program, you might recognize parts
of this strategy. It works really well for me.

Step 1 - at least 3 days of low-carb eating to flush out glycogen
and the extra water that goes with it

Step 2 - 1 day of ONLY fruit and nothing but fruit. I find this
flushes out even MORE excess water, especially from under the
skin.

Step 3 - 1 day of high protein and moderate carbs and water while
loading creatine. This puts back the carbs into the muscle cells,
which, along with creatine, forces a lot of water into them,
making them look larger. Use low-sodium foods here so the water
doesn't go subcutaneous (under the skin) but goes primarily into
the muscles

On the evening of this day, you'll look your best.

You can read the nuts and bolts of this technique in more detail
in this article - How to Gain Muscle By Eating No Protein:

So that's my peaking tip...

If you're interested in a book full of peaking tips from a guy who pretty
much does this kind of thing for a living, THIS is the book
you'll need - Stage Ready Nutrition & Training by Brian
Cannone...

I mentioned this the other day - Brian is a stage veteran, having
entered a number of bodybuilding shows himself and, as a
high-level contest promoter, he has access to a lot of the inside
secrets that the competitors use to peak for his competitions
(one of the perks of the job, I guess!).

So in terms of peaking for a contest or really, any important
event in your life where you want to look your best, I'd
definitely encourage you to check out Brian's book. Excellent
resource.

Nick

P.S. He's got it on special sale till Friday at midnight (50%
off), and he's thrown in an extra bonus book (Maximum Muscle Mass
by Morris Mendez - say that three times quickly!) just for the
people on my list, too.
