Subject: Got tight hips? This hip mobility/strength exercise might be just what you need...

I call these Braced Sartorius Raises... continuing my tradition of showing you how to work muscles you may not even know you had... :)

In a lean person, you'll see the Sartorius as the long strap-like muscle that runs from the outer hip, over the upper thigh then down the inside of the quads, all the way across the knee joint.

This is a banded external hip rotation exercise with the working leg braced against the rail of the power rack to keep it in position and really allow you to work the target muscle without the band pulling your leg to the side.

This makes a BIG difference in how effective this rotational exercise is.
