FAQs Answered by Flavia DelMonte

Question #1: I'm not in my 20's or 30's, will this program still work for someone considerably older?

Answer: If you're willing to work hard it will work for you. I just got an email from a lady who is 40 years old and has two kids and she said, "These workouts kicked my butt and I'm glad because that is what I needed."

I'm not saying 40 is old, I'm saying that's the kind of attitude you need to have to see results. No more excuses!

Question #2: How much weight should I use? How much weight do you use? When should I increase my reps? Weight? When do I decrease my rest periods?

Answer: You're not a robot so please don't OBSESS about all these details! Everything is laid out and the take home message is simple: CHALLENGE YOUR BODY AND WORK HARD.

You're focused on all the WRONG stuff. Reps, sets, rest periods, weight are just tools to give you a template to follow. You need to focus on:

-> How hard your heart is pumping?
-> The trail of sweat you're leaving ...
-> Are you outside of your comfort zone?
-> If you're pushing yourself hard enough
-> Am I being a baby today or can I go harder?
-> Making your muscles BURN like mad

This is the bio feedback I want you to focus on. The workout specs are all laid out. Focus on CHALLENGING YOUR BODY and making EVERY workout your best workout ever. You're in complete control of how your body looks. Just focus on making TODAY your best workout ever and that's it.

Question #3: I train at home and never go to a gym. Can I follow your program?

Answer: Yes. The best situation is if you have a stability ball, wide range of dumbbells and resistance band. If you come on board and find a few exercises you're unsure of here is what we'll do for you:

1. Email me the one you need an alternate for and I'll tell you what to do instead.

2. Wait until I film the new "Home Friendly Exercise Substitution DVD" and add to the member only page where you'll have an entire collection of alternate moves (this will be a FREE addition).

3. I'm also uploading three ADDITIONAL bodyweight workouts today so that you have some alternate workouts to use just in case!

Lastly - don't be afraid to make your own decisions. You're a human being and allowed to be involved in the decision making progress. If you're unsure of a movement, you don't need to panic or email me. You can add a move you know for the respective body part and do it with a big effort.

Question: I have X injury and Y injury and Z injury... should I follow your program?

Answer: That's a tough call. I believe in a "Do No Harm" approach to fitness so I would expect you to use COMMON SENSE and not attempt any moves you KNOW will cause harm. If you're unsure, do not do it. Again, common sense.

It's best to focus on what you CAN do but I am not comfortable providing exercise substitutes over email and when I'm not their in person to supervise your technique.

This is your decision and you are free to try out the program and give it a shot but if you're dealing with more than 1 or 2 injuries at the time, my gut instinct suggests to GET YOURSELF FIXED before trying my stuff. It's NOT easy and it's NOT for complete beginners. Your body needs to be ready to GO.
