2. Muscle Explosion - 28 Days to Maximum Mass

I came up with this "fast mass" program as a result of an experiment I did on myself to see how much weight I could gain in a week... turns out it was 25 pounds (yep, 25).

This insane program is based on the concept of aggressive dietary rebound... you start with a week of very strict dieting, then rebound to massive eating and carefully strategized massive volume overload training (CEO Training).

The result is literally 3 months worth of gains in a matter of weeks.

And I'm not even exagerrating about that.

It's a progam I think every serious trainer should try at least once. It's incredible. I came up with it 20 years ago and it still holds up.

3. Time-Volume Training

I came up with this density training method after working with Charles Staley (the creator of Escalating Density Training). His system is excellent but it had some weaknesses that I felt needed to be improved on.

This version of density training standardizes the reps and the rest periods so that the program tells you EXACTLY when to increase weight and by how much.

There's literally ZERO guesswork... you earn the increase by a simple yes/no based on your performance in the workouts.

I've found this program can "sneak" muscle onto your body without a lot of intensity, making it great for coming back to the gym or taking a different approach from heavy, high-intensity training that beats your body up.

4. Two Block Mass

This approach is based on my experience with the Bulgarian Burst system from 35+ years ago where you purposely overtrain yourself for 3 weeks (Accumulation) then back off for 3 weeks (Intensification).

It takes advantage of your body's natural response to overload by supercompensating.

I like to compare to a car going up a hill. You have to floor it to get over th top...then if you keep it floored when you're coming down the other side, you go REALLY fast.

THAT is where the results are when it comes to building muscle and strength.
