Here's my story...it was during my very first year of training (more
than 20 years ago now) and I wanted nothing more than to
get HUGE. Sound familiar? :)

I was eating a TON of food (like 8000+ calories a day) and training
twice a day, six days a week using the old Bulgarian Burst system
(which, incidentatally is a GREAT system - I actually base a lot of
my own training ideas on my experiences with that program). I was
making really good progress and I wanted more.

So one day I was reading a muscle magazine and saw an ad for a
supplement called Boronol. It was supposed to be the greatest new
muscle-building discovery ever. It was a boron supplement...
yeah, not kidding... a BORON supplement.

The ad said I could get a free bottle, with just 5 bucks shipping. So
being poor and in college at the time, I recruited FIVE friends to order
a bottle each for me, too, to get around the "one per customer" rule.

Three weeks later, my 6 bottles of Boronol arrived! I started taking
them immediately, barely even reading the instructions. I was going
to be a monster!

Well, long story short, I didn't even make it through one of those
bottles before realizing the stuff was absolute garbage.

Here's me...so clever, finding a way to beat the company at their
own game and ended up buying probably 38 cents worth of useless
boron for 30 bucks. Lesson learned.

The best part is...my 5 friends (who didn't train) kept on getting junk
mail flyers from this company for the next 3 years... :).

button so anybody can read what's there, even if you're not on FB, just fyi.

There are a lot of companies out there just waiting to take your money
and provide you ZERO results in return. I'm hoping by posting our
shared experiences, we can give each other a leg up and avoid getting
scammed.

After all, the stuff you've found to be garbage might be the next thing
somebody else is considering buying tomorrow.
