We all want to take advantage of the great deals on Black Friday, but we also need to allocate our limited resources so they stretch as far as possible. Therein lies the rub. Most people believe that shopping at locally based businesses is the right thing to do, but also believe prices are better at the national chains.
So here’s a little quiz that will let you draw your own conclusions. Guess which businesses on this list are based in Colorado. The answers are at the bottom of the newsletter. Once you know who’s local and who’s not, it’ll be easy to check the Black Friday ads and make your own comparisons. (You also might want to consider the quality of the merchandise and customer service before you decide where to spend your money.)
