Subject: This Week's Astrology Forecast!

Dear Stargazers,

I just want to give you all a heads up that with two exceptions, September is fully booked and I already have appointments in October. For those of you who want a December reading, I recommend that you book early, because I am taking time off from December 20 - January 2, 2022.

In the meantime, on August 30 Mercury enters Libra, where it will remain until November 6. Why so long? Because on September 28, Mercury stations retrograde. Since that's more than a month away, it's not relevant at the moment so let's go ahead and look at the coming week.

PLANETARY FORECAST

August 23 - 30

All dates are given in the Eastern Time Zone.

PLANETARY EVENTS

Aug. 30: Mercury enters Libra

BEST DAYS: While there are other days during this time frame that are fine, these are the best of the bunch. What do I mean by the best? The energy is flowing, the moon isn't void and there's a greater likelihood for happy and/or productive outcomes.

Aug. 28

BEST AVOIDED: The energies on these days aren't favorable for new ventures or any activity where you want or need a definite result. If you must schedule something, you may have to think on your feet, or there may be a need for patience or flexibility.

Aug. 24

NOTABLE ASPECTS

Aug. 23: Venus trine Saturn

If a new personal or professional union begins as Venus (love, money and values) embraces Saturn, you can expect it to be infused with stability and longevity. This is also a positive influence for existing unions, and in some cases there could be a decision to make a relationship more permanent.

Aug. 24: Mercury opposite Neptune

As the planet of intellect faces off against the planet of illusion, there can be a greater likelihood of confusion or even fraud, so if possible avoid having important conversations, negotiating deals, or signing contracts. On the upside, this transit can inspire creativity but absent self-motivation, they're likely to simply remain as ideas in your mind.

Aug. 26: Mercury trine Pluto

If you need to be persuasive, this transit will help you make your point, as well as think on your feet. Your mind, memory and concentration are apt to be sharp today, making this an optimum time for learning something new, doing formal research or getting to the heart of a personal matter. On a different note, this influence is a positive one for introspection and if need be, it can help you find a therapist or self-help program that is attuned to your needs.

TRANSITING MERCURY IN LIBRA

August 30 - November 6

(Rx in Libra from 9/28 - 10/18)

After spending several weeks in Virgo, Mercury was ready to ditch his duty roster in favor of the social scene. You see, although he appreciates his immaculate and organized earthy home, Mercury’s airy side prefers life in the social butterfly’s house where he can indulge his curiosity and stimulate his mind through lighthearted relationships.

While in Libra, Mercury is charming, attentive and well-mannered, but he can also be be self-indulgent and rather superficial.

When it comes to relationships, Mercury in Libra enjoys the intellectual stimulation and verbal repartee that accompanies a relationship and has little interest in delving into the emotional aspects of it.

That’s why as long as he’s in the sign of love, he’s more interested in an intellectual connection than a lustful one.

As Mercury tries Libra’s scales on for size, he finds that he carries them quite well because both his airy and earthy sides are known for their sharp insights and analytical prowess. However, while Libra is the sign of justice and fairness, it’s prone to being a “people-pleaser,” which means while Mercury is here he often finds his desire to communicate impartial conclusions at odds with Libra’s need to make everyone feel good.

Immersed in the sign of diplomacy, Mercury soon understands, appreciates and embraces the skill of tactful negotiation. He also recognizes and respects the responsibility and yes, the burden, that Libra’s scales are constantly – and solely – forced to bear in the zodiac.

Likewise, during this time we would do well to engage in objective analysis in all areas of our life, and when need be, deliver our truths – especially the hard ones – in a tactful manner because in the words of Samuel Butler: It is tact that is golden, not silence.

May Jupiter's blessings be your constant companion,
