SOLAR ECLIPSE AT 4°07' CAPRICORN
December 26, 2019 | 12:13 EST
Washington, DC

With its conjunction to Jupiter, there's no doubt that the December 26 annular solar eclipse is smiling on us as we get ready to start a new year in a new decade.

Besides being infused with optimism, this eclipse is enjoying a wonderful flow of energy from Uranus that adds a sense of happy anticipation to the overall energy. What's more, since Jupiter is conjunct the eclipse, it's also on the receiving end of Uranian energy, and this combination is a perfect recipe for some type of unexpected good luck.

You can find out where you might experience a new beginning and/or a lucky break by finding your sun sign in the list below.

For far more detailed insights about this solar eclipse and its potential influence on every sign, tune in to the current episode of Shortcut to the Soul.

Getting Personal

This month's new moon at 4°07' degrees of Capricorn is also a solar eclipse, which means its energy is intensified and therefore longer lasting. Those of you with a planet, angle or house cusp at or near 4°07' of any sign will be on the receiving end of eclipse energy, and if that sign happens to be Cancer, Capricorn, Aries or Libra, you're much more likely to experience it as an external event.

As for the rest of you, the solar eclipse will fall somewhere in your personal horoscope, so if you want to know which life areas may be targeted for a bright new beginning or perhaps a much-needed change, look to the house that's receiving the solar eclipse in your chart.

If you don't know which house holds 4°07' of Capricorn in your horoscope, you can refer to the list below to find out where the new moon falls in your solar (sun-sign based) chart.

If your Sun sign is:

Aries, the eclipse falls in your solar 10th house of career, status and fame.
Taurus, the eclipse falls in your solar 9th house of foreign travel, higher education, legal matters and publishing.
Gemini, the eclipse falls in your solar 8th house of intimacy, other people's money and support, jointly-held assets and transformation.
Cancer, the eclipse falls in your solar 7th house of marriage and one-to-one relationships.
Leo, the eclipse falls in your solar 6th house of work, health, service and pets.
Virgo, the eclipse falls in your solar 5th house of romance, children, creativity
Libra, the eclipse falls in your solar 4th house of home, family, real estate, parents and intuition.
Scorpio, the eclipse falls in your solar 3rd house of siblings, short trips, transportation and all types of communications.
Sagittarius, the eclipse falls in your solar 2nd house of money, income, values and self-worth.
Capricorn, the eclipse falls in your solar 1st house - it's all about you, including your approach to life and physical appearance.
Aquarius, the eclipse falls in your solar 12th house of solitude, secrets, past lives, healing and psychic abilities.
Pisces, the eclipse falls in your solar 11th house of goals, casual friends, colleagues and group relationships.

Manifesting with the Capricorn Solar Eclipse

You can set any intention under any new moon but when it's a solar eclipse, it's energy is more powerful,. As it happens, this solar eclipse is in Capricorn, which favors:

Actions, intentions and affirmations to enhance one’s reputation, advance one’s career, clarify ambitions and improve relationships with parents, bosses and government authorities, as well as to attract skillful builders, contractors, organizers, executives, dentists, chiropractors and orthopedic surgeons.

TRANSITING MERCURY IN CAPRICORN
December 28, 2019 - January 16, 2020

While visiting the restless and freedom-loving sign of Sagittarius, Mercury took advantage of every opportunity to expand his knowledge, broaden his horizons and push some boundaries.

Although he enjoyed every minute in this friendly and sociable sign, the fleet-footed messenger soon began to realize that he was spreading himself a bit too thin and needed to brush up on his organizational skills.

So with his passport tucked securely under his hat, Mercury bid farewell to the ruler of foreign places (in several different languages of course) and cruised into Capricorn. >>Read More
