| Dear Stargazers,
This is the last newsletter for 2018 and it's jam-packed with astro insights!
The first solar eclipse of the year is just days away, and less than 24 hours later, transiting Uranus will station direct (more on both of these events below) and at that point ALL of the planets will be moving forward in direct motion!
Not only that, but they'll continue to do so until March 5, when Mercury (who else?) breaks rank and stations retrograde.
This energy is a far cry from what we experienced from June - December 2018 when Mars, then Mercury, then Venus and then Mercury (again!) stationed retrograde. During that time, Jupiter was also retrograde (until Aug. 11), as was Saturn (until Sept. 18), Uranus (going direct Jan. 6), Neptune (until Nov. 27) and Pluto (until Sept. 22). As a result, the second half of 2018 was an extremely tough time for getting things done.
Fortunately, neither Venus nor Mars will be retrograde in 2019, but even so, it's not common to have all the planets moving in direct motion. It's a wonderful way to start off the new year, especially since we'll enjoy this energy for two full months.
Although Mercury spoils the fun, when it goes direct on March 28, all of the planets will be moving forward until April 10 when Jupiter stations retrograde (followed by Saturn on April 29). Though it's a brief window of time, it can still be put to good use!

SOLAR ECLIPSE at 15°25' CAPRICORN January 5, 2019 | 8:28 PM Washington, DC
A solar eclipse occurs during a new moon, so it's associated with new beginnings. However, it can also bring about an ending if there's something that needs to be cleared away before something new can take root.
This eclipse at 15° Capricorn is the first of three eclipses that will occur in the sign of the Seagoat this year. The second one is a lunar eclipse (July 16 at 24° Capricorn) and the third one is another solar eclipse (December 26 at 4° Capricorn). There'll also be a solar eclipse at 10° Cancer on July 2.
This means that if you're born under Capricorn, Cancer, Aries or Libra, or if you have any planets or sensitive points in these signs, your life is being targeted for change that to be perfectly honest, could come about in a surprising or even shocking way. Whether such change is the answer to your prayers or comes wrapped in a crisis depends specifically on your chart, your soul's intentions and your present situation (which is a culmination of how you've been exercising your free will).
Of course, the influence of this eclipse isn't limited to these four signs. However, the rest of the zodiac won't be experiencing it as intensely or in the same manner.

URANUS STATIONS DIRECT AT 28°36' ARIES
On January 6, 2019, less than 24 hours after the Capricorn Solar Eclipse, Uranus will make it's final station in the sign of the Ram. For the next two months, it will move forward through the final degrees of Aries and on March 6, it will begin to sow revolutionary seeds in the sign of the Bull.
From now until then, it's time for you you to step up, step out and step forward into a new cycle of personal growth and development. In fact, there's never been a better time for initiation because not only are you under the influence of a solar eclipse, but because all of the planets will be moving in direct motion until March 5 (the day Mercury goes retrograde)
Since August 2, the day Uranus stationed retrograde, many of you have felt the need for a fresh start or some type of major change in your life. You may not have known the specific change you needed to make in your life, but you intuitively knew that it involved more freedom, more choices and more independence.
It may have felt as though a mutiny was stirring within you, and as you debated it over and over in your practical conscious mind, you couldn't silence the intuitive voice that was telling you to never settle, never surrender and never give up on the dream you've been holding in your heart.
