Dear Stargazers,

On December 21, those of us in the northern hemisphere will celebrate the winter solstice while those in the southern hemisphere will be celebrating the summer solstice.

Whether the solstice marks winter or summer, we all have one thing in common: We're getting ready to welcome a new year.
For me, it also marks what would have been my dad's 91st birthday. Born just before the Sun moved into Capricorn, my father embodied many of the Archer's traits. He was friendly, outgoing, optimistic and never gave up on trying to expand his horizons. He was also fond of lottery tickets and prone to exaggeration. Most of all, he was protective and despite his short stature, he possessed physical strength that could rival that of the Hulk. To this day, it still amazes me how he would move huge, heavy pieces of furniture by himself.

When this photo was taken in October 1985, I never imagined that just seven years later, he'd be gone.

That's why I celebrate every Christmas, every New Year and every birthday (my family's as well as my own) enthusiastically, generously and lovingly. Happy memories are priceless, especially when our loved ones are on the other side, and I'm blessed to have an abundance of them that are filled with love and laughter.

I hope you do, too.
Shortcut to the Soul Podcast

Many of you may not be aware of it, but in addition to iTunes, Stitcher, GooglePlay, iHeartRadio and my website, you can also listen to the podcast on YouTube

I would very much appreciate if you would subscribe to the podcast on YouTube, because until I have 100 subscribers, I can't customize the url link. A customized link makes it a lot easier to promote the page, which will be very helpful in the new year as I plan to upload videos as well as do some live streaming. You can click here to subscribe (and thank you in advance!)

On another note, I want to remind everyone that the last day you can take advantage of a $50.00 discount on your first reading with psychic Eddie Conner is January 1, 2019. Click here for details!

BEST DAYS

While there are other days during this time frame that are fine, these are the best of the bunch. What do I mean by the best? The energy is flowing, the moon isn't void and there's a greater likelihood for happy and/or productive outcomes.

BEST AVOIDED

The energies on these days aren't favorable for new ventures or any activity where you want or need a definite result. If you must schedule something, you may have to think on your feet, or there may be a need for patience or flexibility.

FULL MOON at 0°49' CANCER
December 22, 2018 | 12:49 PM
Washington, DC

Compared to the last two full moons, which were at odds with Mars, the energy of this one is far more pleasant. As it happens, there's only one aspect and it's a sextile from Uranus. Although not a powerful energy, a sextile is a flowing aspect that represents opportunity.

In this chart, it suggests opportunities for positive change connected to one's home and family. Since this is a full moon, it's about bringing something to light or to a conclusion, such as a happy decision involving real estate, redecorating or a family tradition. For example, some of you may be hosting a holiday celebration for the first time, while others may be celebrating the new year out of town.

This aspect also suggests that some of you may experience a stronger intuition, and on an emotional level, this full moon could inspire many of you to look forward to the new year with a renewed sense of hope.
Getting Personal

If you don't know which house holds 0°49' Cancer in your horoscope, you can refer to the list below to find out which house the full moon falls in your solar chart. Since a full moon involves the sun and the moon, be sure to consider the life areas ruled by the opposite house as well.

If your Sun sign is:

Aries, it falls in your 4th house (home, family, real estate, parents). Read the 10th house as well.
Taurus, it falls in your solar 3rd house (siblings, neighbors, short trips, cars, contracts, negotiations.). Read the 9th house as well.
Gemini, it falls in your 2nd house (income, spending, personal values, self-esteem, tangible assets). Read the 8th house as well.
Cancer, it falls in your 1st house (your physical body, attitude towards life). Read the 7th house as well.
Leo, it falls in your 12th house (spirituality, creativity, mental health, addictions). Read the 6th house as well.
Virgo, it falls in your 11th house (groups, associations, hopes, casual friends, colleagues). Read the 5th house as well.
Libra, it falls in your 10th house (career, fame, status, reputation). Read the 4th house as well.
Scorpio, it falls in your 9th house (education, law, religion, foreign and long-distance travel, publishing). Read the 3rd house as well.
Sagittarius, it falls in your 8th house (intimacy, shared resources, other people's support, birth, death, estate matters). Read the 2nd house as well.
Capricorn, it falls in your 7th house (marriage and all one-to-one relationships including best friends, adversaries, business partners and clients). Read the 1st house as well.
Aquarius, it falls in your 6th house (health, work, pets, diet, nutrition). Read the 12th house as well.
Pisces, it falls in your 5th house (romance, children, creative self-expression, entertainment). Read the 11th house as well.

Releasing with the Cancer Moon

You can release anything under any full moon, but since this one is saturated in Cancer energy, it's especially helpful for releasing:

Negative beliefs or fears connected to emotional and financial security, family members, establishing a home, finding your tribe, nurturing (ability to nurture or resistance to being nurtured), bodies of water and intuitive gifts,

Traits or tendency to be moody, stingy, clingy, manipulative, fearful, procrastinating or thin-skinned.

GIFT CERTIFICATES

If you'd like to purchase a gift certificate for an astrology or mediumship reading (they never expire) for a loved one, just email Kate (kate@debraclementastrologer.com), let her know what you need, and she'll take care of it.
