Tuesday, Nov. 2: Mercury square Pluto

A difference of opinion could easily turn into a heated discussion today, and if neither side exercises restraint it could escalate into a nasty argument. If possible, avoid discussing sensitive or polarizing topics, and if it's unavoidable, encourage the other person to agree to disagree. On a more positive note, a good use of this energy is to channel it into an activity that involves research. Whether it's work-related or something personal such as determining the best air fryer, this influence will help you get the job done.

Wednesday, Nov. 4: Sun opposite Uranus

You're not about to take no for an answer today, and woe to anyone who tries to tell you what to do. This influence promotes strong egos, and you can easily find yourself in a clash of wills with anyone who appears to be standing in your way. A far better (and happier) use of this energy is to introduce some type of positive excitement into your life, such as trying something new that infuses a sense of fun or adventure into the day.

Saturday, Nov. 6: Mercury sextile Venus

When Mercury is sextile Venus, the mind is in harmony with the heart, and by consciously tapping into this energy, you can connect more easily your feelings and/or express them to someone else.

NEW MOON IN SCORPIO

This month's new moon is in Scorpio, an emotionally complex sign that requires a sense of control over its circumstances in order to feel secure, and as it opposes Uranus (unforeseen events, independence), it sets the stage for a new beginning connected to self-determination.

Whether you need to exert more control over your own life or need to allow others control over their respective destinies, the transformational energy of this new moon will support your transformation.

Just keep in mind that although this is a new moon, in order for something to be transformed something has to die, which means you will probably have to release something, such as a belief, in order for your new beginning to take root.

Dressed for success, Venus entered Capricorn.

As the planetary ruler of love and money, the earthy side of Venus is at home in Capricorn. When it comes to finances, Venus in Capricorn knows how to save for a rainy day, as well as for vacations, emergencies and retirement. While no one will ever accuse her of being a spendthrift, she’s willing to pay big bucks if she believes it’s a worthwhile investment. Whether it’s fashion, furniture or anything else for that matter, she’s not interested in fads or the latest trends. Immersed in Capricorn tradition, she’s only interested in what will stand the test of time and that includes relationships.

Speaking of relationships, while in Capricorn Venus takes promises and commitments seriously. Through good times and bad, she demonstrates her love through her steadfast support and willingness to help.

Although her airy side is at odds with the Capricorn’s aloof nature, her earthy side knows that beneath the Seagoat’s chilly exterior is a passion that runs deep. While in Capricorn, Venus is actually quite lusty. She’s also very discreet and extremely selective, which means only a privileged few experience this side of her.

Finally, Venus presides over personal values, and while she’s in Capricorn, she’ll define exactly who, what and where her priorities lie in connection to her personal and professional status.

TRANSITING MERCURY IN SCORPIO

November 5 - 24, 2021

Whenever Mercury is in Scorpio, he has carte blanche to investigate, interrogate and extrapolate to his heart’s content. He’ll scrutinize every word, search for every loophole and dissect every action.

And if it serves his interests, he'll snoop in medicine chests and read confidential emails, diaries and financial statements. In the Underworld everything is fair game.

Not so in the earthly realm.

While it's true that some could be tempted to cross ethical lines under this influence, the good news is that while transits can inspire human behavior, they don't control it.

On another note, Mercury is the planetary ruler of communications, and while he's visiting the sign of the Scorpion he tends to be tight-lipped. That means you won’t catch him gossiping, sharing confidences or divulging secrets. In Scorpio, Mercury shares information on a need-to-know basis.

Although Mercury tends to be superficial, forgetful and easily distracted, while in Scorpio his mind is more profound, his memory is sharp and his concentration is second to none. As a result, many of you will find it easier to focus on your goals

Finally, when Mercury is in Scorpio his naturally inquisitive nature transforms into a fearless curiosity that doesn't hesitate to delve into areas that others find mysterious, chilling or taboo.

That's why some of you may feel compelled to seek answers.
