Dear Stargazers,

Before we get to this week's forecast, I want to thank you for your donations, prayers and words of support for Chris Flisher, all of which are deeply appreciated.

As for the week ahead, you'll want to take advantage of the positive energies on Thursday and Sunday and if you heed my advice about Tuesday and Saturday, you should be able to sidestep the potentially discouraging influences.

However, the big news is that Mars returns to Scorpio this week, and as it does it offers each one of you a chance to initiate positive transformation in your life.

Oct. 30: Mars enters Scorpio

BEST DAYS: While there are other days during this time frame that are fine, these are the best of the bunch. What do I mean by the best? The energy is flowing, the moon isn't void and there's a greater likelihood for happy and/or productive outcomes.

Oct. 31 (Happy Halloween!)

BEST AVOIDED: The energies on these days aren't favorable for new ventures or any activity where you want or need a definite result. If you must schedule something, you may have to think on your feet, or there may be a need for patience or flexibility.

NOTABLE ASPECTS

Tuesday, Oct. 26: Venus square Neptune

This transit warns against unrealistic expectations concerning relationships and also puts you on notice to exercise caution in financial matters. If a romantic or business opportunity presents itself, hold off on making any concrete decisions until Thursday. On a different note, artistic types may experience a creative block now, and if so, the best course of action is to set the project aside for a few days.

Thursday, Oct. 28: Venus sextile Jupiter

This is a pleasant influence that supports social activities and promotes feelings of affection and generosity. If you meet someone new under this influence, the energy suggests there may be potential for a lasting friendship, a serious romance or a helpful business connection.

Saturday, Oct. 30: Sun square Saturn

Today may be the day that some of you finally confront some type of limitation in your life. It could be connected to a disagreement you had with a boss or other authority figure, and some of you may have to face the fact that a lack of experience, training or education is preventing you from reaching a goal. The key to working with this energy is to understand that if your goals are being tested, it's so that you can make the changes that will enable you to achieve them.

Sunday, Oct. 31: Mercury trine Jupiter

This influence is very favorable for starting a new course of study, especially if it involves religion, spirituality, law or philosophy. Should be be the one doing the teaching, you will be more effective than usual. This energy also favors travel, making it a good day to research a new destination and/or book a trip, as well as all types of communications. Finally, the easy flow of this energy also supports social activities, making it a good day to connect with others.

TRANSITING MARS IN SCORPIO

October 30 - December 13

On October 30, Mars moves into Scorpio, where he will spend the next six weeks doing a deep dive into the mysteries of life.

While Mars is immersed in the Underworld, you have the opportunity to go deep as well.

And if you take it, the rewards can be life-changing.

Like Pluto, Mars has an innate understanding of birth, death and transformation that comes from keeping the throne warm in the Underworld until Pluto was ready to claim it, a role he handled so well that he continues to be Scorpio's co-ruler.

As the planet of action, the house that Mars is visiting in your horoscope reveals the life areas where you're likely to be proactive and since he's in Scorpio, it offers the chance to initiate something that will transform your life.

What kind of something? More than likely, it will involve letting one of your beliefs, relationships, situations or goals die in its present form, so that it can be transformed and reborn in a new one. A better one. One that is aligned with your soul's reason for being here.
