Dear Stargazers,

I'll be making several exciting announcements during the month of May. I'm not going to be announcing them all on social media, because most of them
 - including the biggest one - will initially be for your eyes only. I'm letting you know now so that you won't be surprised to find a few more emails from me in your inbox.

Besides wanting to wait until after Mercury goes direct (May 3) to make them, I also chose May because it's the 5th month of the year. In numerology, 5 is a number of change, and it happens, I'm in a 5 personal year.

Although I wasn't 100% sure what it would be, I knew from last year that significant changes were coming in my work and in my life, because that's how every 5 year in the past has played out for me. Personally, I relate 5 energy to Uranus energy because it's often a roller coaster year that can be wildly exciting if you're up for the ride.

So keep an eye on that inbox, but for now, let's focus on what's coming up in the next two weeks.
PLANETARY FORECAST
April 23 - May 7, 2017

PLANETARY EVENTS

Apr. 26:  New Moon in Taurus
May 3:   Mercury stations direct (remains in the post-retrograde shadow through May 20)

BEST DAYS

While there are other days during this time frame that are fine, these are the best of the bunch. What do I mean by the best? The energy is flowing, the moon isn't void and there's a greater likelihood for happy and/or productive outcomes.

BEST AVOIDED

The energies on these days aren't favorable for new ventures or any activity where you want or need a definite result. If you must schedule something, you may have to think on your feet, or there may be a need for patience or flexibility.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, TAURUS!

With your ruling planet Venus now moving forward, it's time for you to do the same. The good news is that you can count on Jupiter to have your back at work and support your efforts to improve your health (and possibly expand your waistline). Make the most of this energy, because on October 9, Jupiter will shift its focus as it moves out of your solar 6th house and begin a year-long visit in your solar house of relationships. More on that in a moment; for now it's important to talk about work.

Why? Because the Leo/Aquarius eclipse cycle (that continues through January 2019) will be targeting your solar 4/10 houses, which represent your home and your career. Consequently, some of you will be experiencing changes in those areas, and if it happens that your Sun is being squared (challenged) by any of these eclipses, your life can turn on a dime. This isn't meant to scare you or infer that these changes will be upsetting; they can be a welcome breath of fresh air or even the miracle you've wanted for years.

The truth I can't tell what you may experience without a detailed analysis of your horoscope, but I can say that for some of you, June through September may bring a change in your home (buy/sell/move/renovate/someone moves in or out) or your career (you may leave / change your job; your boss may suddenly leave or there may be a change in the company's structure / hierarchy). On another note, the 4/10 axis is the parental axis, so there may be changes in a parent's life (e.g., moving, retiring). In any event, if there are any work-related situations going on (talks of layoffs or you've just outgrown the job and are ready to move on), don't waste Jupiter's benevolence and keep your eye out for opportunities.

For those of you born with the Sun at 16° - 21° of Taurus, you also have the power of Pluto supporting you, which will help you make changes in your life.

Back to relationships. Once Jupiter enters your solar 7th house, you can expect Jupiter's generosity to help you attract supportive a variety of supportive relationships including, but not limited to, marriage partners, close friends and clients. Besides abundance, Jupiter is a planet of healing as well as release. If any of your relationships are in trouble, you can expect them to be healed or released. When relationships end under this influence, the parting is usually amicable. That's why Jupiter's presence here is considered favorable for settling lawsuits and making peace with adversaries.

Finally:  After years of a challenging, and then awkward, relationship with Saturn, the celestial taskmaster enters Capricorn on December 19th, and when it does, it will be throw its support behind you. For approximately 2.5 years, Saturn will be in Capricorn, and at some point every one of you will experience its stabilizing energy as it moves through your solar 9th house. What I want you to keep in mind is this: When Saturn is in the 9th, it's on its way to the 10th, and when it gets there, you're going to rise or fall based upon what you've been doing for the past several years, so make the next 5 years count!
NEW MOON 6°27 TAURUS
April 26, 2017 | 8:16 AM
Washington, DC

This month's new moon takes place in the most grounded, loyal and committed sign in the zodiac. While other signs may cut and run, Taurus goes the distance, and while other signs do so as well, it's the Bull that goes down with the ship.

That's why the energy of a Taurus new moon is perfect for setting long-range goals and initiating long-term plans. This new moon falls in the 12th house (hidden), and the only applying (forming) aspect it makes is a weak sextile (opportunity that requires action) to Neptune. This is a pleasant energy that can inspire vision, but without any substantial support from another planet, it's likely to remain a daydream at this time. This makes sense when you consider that not only is Mercury retrograde in this chart, but with Gemini rising it rules it as well.

Does this mean you should abandon any new moon intentions or actions this month? No to intentions, and maybe to actions. As a rule, it's not a good time to initiate new actions while Mercury is retrograde unless you're re-launching something. However, sometimes we don't have a choice but to go forward, and in those instances, I believe it's because we're meant to go forward under this influence.

In this chart, Mercury retrograde is making a trine (flow) to Saturn. This is a stabilizing energy that favors matters connected to communications, travel and intellectual pursuits or activities. It's also making a conjunction (beginning or ending) to Uranus, which suggests something sudden or unexpected.

Looking at it as a whole, I'm going to say that the best-laid intentions and actions at this time may be subject to change down the road. Such a change may be due to unexpected circumstances or it may be that you gain sudden insight or come up with a brilliant new idea.
Let's Get Personal!

So which life areas are being targeted in your life by this new moon? They're revealed by the horoscope house that's hosting this new moon in your chart. If you don't know which house holds 6°27' of Taurus in your horoscope, you can refer to the below to find out where the new moon falls in your solar (sun-sign based) chart.

If your Sun sign is:

Aries, it falls in your 2nd house (income, spending, personal values, self-esteem, tangible assets).

Taurus, it falls in your 1st house (your physical body, attitude towards life).

Gemini, it falls in your 12th house (spirituality, creativity, mental health, addictions).

Cancer, it falls in your 11th house (groups, associations, hopes, casual friends, colleagues).

Leo, it falls in your 10th house (career, fame, status, reputation).

Virgo, it falls in your 9th house (education, law, religion, foreign and long-distance travel, publishing).

Libra, it falls in your 8th house (intimacy, shared resources, other people's support, birth, death, estate matters).

Scorpio, it falls in your 7th house (marriage and all one-to-one relationships including best friends, adversaries, business partners and clients).

Sagittarius, it falls in your 6th house (health, work, pets, diet, nutrition).

Capricorn, it falls in your 5th house (romance, children, creative self-expression, entertainment).

Aquarius, it falls in your 4th house (home, family, real estate, parents).

Pisces, it falls in your solar 3rd house (siblings, neighbors, short trips, cars, contracts, negotiations.).

Manifesting with the Taurus New Moon

You can set any intention under any new moon but when it's saturated in Taurus energy, it especially favorable for:

Actions and affirmations to boost your income, increase your earning potential, attract material assets and strengthen your self-esteem, as well as assist you in establishing new priorities This lunar energy is also helpful for attracting qualified financial planners and investment experts into your life. to assist in establishing personal values and priorities.

However ... with Mercury retrograde during this new moon, the seeds you're planting now may be slow - or even fail - to germinate. Should you even bother to plan them? Absolutely! Just keep in mind that you may need to be summon more than a little patience.  A delay is much more common, but should your intention fail to take root at all, the most likely reason under this energy is that it's ill-timed. More specifically, it's premature and not yet ready for prime time.
IN MEMORIUM

I was so sad to learn of Allie Cheslick's sudden and unexpected transition this morning.

Allie was a spiritual intuitive, medium, teacher, radio host. Born under Aries, she had a warrior's spirit and although she could be rough around the edges, she had a heart of gold.

Allie and I met through work, and in the past we appeared on each other's radio shows. She insisted on reading me, and brought forward information that no one else had ever mentioned (and that includes until today). Most of all, she told me something that at the time I thought was so far off base, but which I saw come to pass last year. When it did, I reached out to hear to let her know, as well as to let her know that I would be talking about it publicly and when I did, she would be getting full credit for seeing what no one else did.

What was it she saw? You'll find out soon, because that's the the biggest announcement I alluded to in my opening paragraph.

Allie was a helluva woman and a helluva soul. I'm thankful for having known her.
May Jupiter's blessings be your constant companion,
